Kolber from Pennsylvania has a master's degree from University of Miami. Her career in the field began when she was the Video Coordinator at CBS Sports, New York City. She won an award for a regional Sports Emmy during her tenure with WTVJ-TV located in Miami. Also, she worked for WPLG-TV Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach in Florida. In 1993, she joined ESPN and was picked as one of the initial anchors of ESPN2 as it came out during the same year. After working at ESPN2 for the next three years Fox Sports hired her. In 1999 she was hired by ESPN to present 'Monday Night Countdown.'
